Wedding Photography Boat House Blackwattle Bay

Myles and Jenny were married on Saturday 27th October, 2012 at Kincoppal Chapel, Rose Bay. It was a perfect Spring morning for a Wedding with the Sydney blue sky as a lovely backdrop. They chose to get ready at home together with their Bridal Party in their loft style apartment. Just after 9am the limo arrived to take them to the ceremony at Kincoppal Chapel at Rosebay. Followed was lunch time reception followed at The Boat House Blackwattle Bay. Their modern theme was carefully selected with a hint of soft pastel colours highlighted throughout the details of the day. Their day was truly a romantic Wedding. Lana & Chris held their wedding at the Sheraton Fiji Denarau. in October I was lucky enought to photograph a destination Wedding in Fiji. Elana and Chris chose the Wedding Chapel at Sheraton on Denarau Island to say their vows and celebrate amongst family and friends. It was the perfect afternoon with a location shoot on the beach followed by their reception dinner at Flying Fish. Congratulations Elana & Chris.

Fitzroy Inn, Bowral | Southern Highlands Wedding Photographer

My first Wedding of Spring was definately a special day at Fitzroy Inn in Bowral. Georgina and Jason chose a beautiful place to celebrate their love and commitment to each other in the Southern Highlands, NSW. On Saturday the 15th September Georgina and Jason prepared for their day at the Fitzroy Inn amongst family and friends before heading to a local church to say their vows. The details of their wedding day were selected to reflect the couples personalities from vintage cars to baby animals for the children to be entertained at the reception.

David Oliver Workshop AIPP Hunter Valley NSW

This month I was lucky to travel to the Hunter Valley to attend The 2012 Nikon AIPP Event run by the Australian Institute of Professional Photography and various sponsors. This annual event is held to educate photographers by the industries leading photographers. Workshops and inspiring seminars are held through out the week by photographers such as Marcus Bell, David and Clare Oliver, VIcki Bell to name just a few.

The photographs below were taken when I attended David and Clare Oliver’s workshop. On the Wednesday afternoon a small group of photographers travelled to David’s farm approximately 45 minutes from Cypress Lakes Resort to take part in an afternoon of learning, photographing, eating and drinking.

Clare was kind enough to model for the workshop while twenty of more photographers captured her dancing and posing in the afternoon light while we created beautiful photos. The evening ended with a home cooked dinner amongst new friends. The Oliver’s did not just let us into their new studio, they let us into their home and new life on their Hunter Valley Farm.

It was a winter afternoon spent in Centennial Park getting to know this engaged couple and it was truly a pleasure for me. Jason & Georgie took a little while to get used being photographed but enjoyed themselves and the experience. There are some magical moments when photographing an engaged couple and its waiting for the right time. They were relaxed and ready to capture natural photographs of them talking, smiling and laughing together. The vibrant colours are from the clothing choices and the small bouquet from Inbud for some additional colour to pop.

Cronulla Maternity Photographer Sutherland Shire

These photographs are some of my favourite maternity photographs I have taken to date. I love the emotion, simplicity, colours and shapes that we created during this Maternity Photography Session. The location was a prefect backdrop to capture some lifestyle portraits. I captured a few candid shots on the beach pathways at Cronulla beach before creating some posed photos of the baby bump. I always enjoy capturing Maternity Photographs as it’s an amazing time in a woman’s life being pregnant and it can go by so quickly.

Milton Park Wedding Photography

A team of Creatives were called upon to collaborate for this dream like Wedding at Milton Park Country House Hotel in the beautiful Southern Highlands of New South Wales. The aim of the Autumn shoot was to showcase the teams talent and capture the Bride and Groom in the magical garden.

Invitations were made, delicate flowers chosen for the bouquet, the designer gowns carefully selected, hair pinned and curled with one goal in mind. A inspiration board of soft colours was made to allow the team to create their piece of the fairytale wedding.

Wedding at Nuns Pool Shelly Beach Cronulla

A wedding takes weeks of planning and creativity to prepare for a special day. Samantha and Justin were married at Shelly Beach, Cronulla in April 2012, their Wedding was a perfect Autumns afternoon amongst family and friends. With the afternoon sunlight, this opportunity allowed me to capture beautiful romantic imagery as the sun set at Darook Park, Cronulla. The favourite photos of the day were the unplanned gumtree portraits along with the portraits on the small bay beach at Darook Park.The Wedding Reception was held at The Nuns Pool, a contemporary beach side restaurant nearby. It was a wonderful day for the happy couple.
